--Thanks Dave for your reply but the info you included won't help. My Mills are not from the John Mills "Quaker" line. My Mills were in Edgecombe long before the Quaker Mills then to Halifax co., NC then to Wilkes co., then on to Hawkins, Hancock co., TN. They were in TN by 1812. William Mills's sisters husband requested a letter of dismissal from the Globe church for his wife in 1811 before they left for TN.
