My g-g-grandmother, Clara MILLS', dob is recorded in our family bible as 28 Aug 1843. Her death certificate records her place of birth as Suffolk. In the BDMs and IGI the only Clara MILLS born around that time has a dob of 22 Aug 1842. Before I send away for this certificate I want to try and clarify if this is, in fact, her. Her father's name on her marriage certificate (to Thomas Harvey CHANDLER) is William. There is no mention of her mother. However, her death certificate records her mother's name as Sophia with strangely no referernce to her father. Would it be possible for somebody to check the 1851 or 1861 census to see if there is a Clara MILLS with parents William and Sophia? Does anybody else have some connection to this family?
