    3. I was hoping your Elizabeth Mills could be the one listed on the 1790 Census of Wilkes County NC; however, she was likely either a widow or an unmarried head of household. She wouldn't have had a Mills child in 1798.(Unless she remarried to another Mills--it could have happenend that way, but not too probable). Other names connected with this county in NC around 1790-1800 are Simon Mills, John Mills, William Mills who married Salley Strutton, Isham Mills, Hardy Mills who married Frances Carpenter. Has anyone figured out anything about the Elizabeth Mills I reference here?
