His son Everett(Moss) was my grandmother (Zelma's) father. Was he adopted? I had heard rumor from my great aunt Thelma (Zelma's sister) that he was the illegitimate son of Thomas Scott & that he was acknowledged until after Thomas's wifes death. Please let me know if you found anything out.
