They were a farming family in or near Cornwall, Orange Co. NY. Our Abigail married John Barton in 1775. We have no record of Amos Sr's. wife. Abby Clark reportedly married an Amos Mills (b 6/15/1723 of Bedford, Westchester Co. [son of Zachariah Mills and Joanne ?. (See RootsWeb, Aaron/Hendricks Family Tree). I would like to obtain the proofs of the latter because I have come to believe that these Amos's were probably one and the same from research here, but need proof. From Amos Sr on I have all the family and hundreds of relatives up to the present. westchester
