If your research proves out with church records or marriage records that Abigail MILLS was a dau of an Amos MILLS, Sr. very good. That family seems to be documented by many that it goes back to George MILLS of Jamaica, LI NY. You previously posted that you did not know what the last names were of Phoebe CLARK's parents. I read it June 19 2005, and made a note on my MISC MILLS file. When I read it, you had Phoebe's parents as Amos and Abigail, but no last names. Did you find in the meantime, a record that showed that Amos was CLARK, and that Abigail was a MILLS? Or that Amos was a MILLS and Abigail was a CLARK? pat cw
