    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: MILLS Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/jE1.2ACEB/3491.1 Message Board Post: Kurt, I think I answered you on the MILLS LIST about his possible birthplace, not being in Ohio in 1771. The area of the Northwest Territory was not opened for settlement until 1788, see History of Ohio by W H Beers 1888 tells about it. Granted their were soldiers traveling through there with General Wayne and others, a MILLS among them. Possibly he was born in PA before moving over into Ohio with his parents later on? Kentucky could be more of a link to the Nasby MILLS clan in Kentucky. See more info on Kentucky Pioneers and Ancestors on microfilm at the LDS FH Library near you. They were well known as sharpshooters and frontiersmen, but not all that sure that they would have endangered their families at that time. MILLS GIBSON JOHNSON GULICK are some of the related families that traveled together and are listed as kin to one another. Also listed as kin to MILLS GIBSON JOHNSON GULICK was Elias Boudinet. Check for more information about his family. May link to Elisha that way.

    3. Hello, Recently I posted all my MILLS families of Fulton Co IL and among them was mentioned Amos Mills married to Catherine Gullick. This is NOT my own family, but I remember the names, and now you mention these names again. The researcher who is working on the Mills-Gullick family in Fulton Co IL is Joyce hag@winco.net I hope that you 2 can share some data together.
