Not sure which family line of WILSON or WILLSON you might be. There were very early arrivals to the New WORLD of that surname. They married eventually into MILLS and related families, who just happen to be related to my family MILLS of New Jersey USA, and they removed from there to Ontario, Canada, as well as other parts of the USA. Other branches seems to have removed from New Jersey USA to Pennsylvania and then on west to Northwest Territory now Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and then on from there. Since all of them are very similarly named, John, Jonathan, Richard, Samuel, Amos, Moses, etc. Makes it extremely difficult following them. One sometimes, if known, has better luck tracing the spouse of those men. Then we find other related allied families, that seem to once again, marry back into the original family of MILLS or WILSON, again, their descendants.
