Your spelling of MacCormick is different than mine but it varies where they may have come from. My Hiram 1804 was born in NY but lived most of his life in NJ. His parents would probably have come form Scotland in the middle 1700' Justine Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 3. I find this interesting. I have two Hiram Mills' in my family. Neither from NY or NJ...on that side the people from Scotland were Colliers and Davisons. Was Hiram a very popular name in the early 1800s. Or even the Mid 1880s. sally ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, December 17, 2008 7:28 PM Subject: Re: [MILLS] MILLS Deeds Essex and Somerset Counties NJ > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Author: justine2763 > Surnames: > Classification: queries > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.mills/5662.3.1.2/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > Lori, > Not duing well with writter name. > Your spelling of MacCormick is different than mine but it varies where > they may have come from. > My Hiram 1804 was born in NY but lived most of his life in NJ.
