Who is this William Mills? William appears to have been a Circuit Preacher with the Episcopal Church of Elizabeth Town. He is not the Rev. William Mills (1738-1774), hus/o Mary Reading who died 1794 in Elizabeth Town. Rev. William Mills (1738-1774) was associated with the Presbyterian Church. Could the Circuit Preacher William Mills associated with the Episcopal Church of Elizabeth Town have been a son of William Mills and Mary Reading or is the Circuit Preacher of a completely different MILLS family? They are said to have had a son by the name of William MILLS, Jr. "Until the close of the Revolutionary War, two churches only had been organized within the village of Elizabeth Town; the First Presbyterian, and St. John's Episcopal, churches." Representing Methodist Episcopal, East Town Circuit: "1801-Joseph Totten, William Mills. 1801-Joseph Totten, William Mills. 1810-William Mills, Jacob Hevener."
