Hi! Jackie, My Walter C. Mills is shown on the 1881 England Census as being 2 yrs old and it shows him as being born in West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England...........his mother Sabina M. Mills is shown as head of household (widowed). That is really all the information that I have on him except that he has 2 older brothers. May be a connection, but I kind of doubt it....... On 9 May 1906 he married Mary Jane Caroline O'Leary who was born 1876 in Cork, Ireland. He was 27 years and she was 30 years. Walter's father was cited as a farrier and deceased on the marriage certificate. Do you have him in the 1881 census? Could you send me details?
