Eli Mills and his family and only some of his 10 children including Amos Mills (my great grandfather) moved from near Martinsville IN to IL, Mercer Co. about 1844. Mercer Co is about 30 miles south of Rock Island IL (the Quad Cities) and just across the Mississippi River from Muscatine IA. I hope this will help but I am not sure we can make a connection.
