My mother's maiden name was Edith Mills, daugher of Floyd and Virginia Mills. Mom was from Pineville, or at least went to school there. At some point they moved to Evarts, KY., and who knows where else. Mom is the only living sib and she has endstage Alzheimer's and I know nothing about her family. The name Clyde sounds familiar and I do recall hearing Mom mention Crank's Creek. I do know she had an Aunt Lizzie that lived/lives in Pineville. I don't know if Aunt Lizzie is from my grandfather's side or grandmother's side. Does any of this ring a bell?
