I have an old photo of a Rachael Courson portrait that says "1/2 Indian" on the back. Does anyone know of a native American connection to the Courson/Corson family? I also read online that Mary Kathryn Mills who married Lewis Olds of the Miami Indian tribe, was once a teacher to the tribe that lived peaceably with the white population near Patoka.
