No Martha D: 1900. So went to ancestry.com, okay, I broke down and got a membership last year, early on. But used their census views for 1900. Found Martha and Harris L MILLS and famiy. 305 309 MILLS, Harris L I guess it is. W M Sept 1859 40 M 20 IN IN IN Farmer Yes Yes Yes R 7 205 That is what is across his line. Next is Martha E. MILLS, Martha E Wife W F June 1857 42 M 20 7 4 TN TN TN Yes Yes Yes. Okay, one page back from Harris and Martha is a family of Henry and Mary HUSSEY, ages 54, both of them. She has had 8 children, 5 living. Married 31 years. BP's are IN ME PA for him. IN SC SC for her. Not known if related but you did mention that surname. For 1910 Census we have: MILLS Roy, Servant age 21 S IN IN IN Laborer English Gen Farm Emp Yes Yes 0 T 65 He is listed on Baron SLOAN Farm, next door to looks like CONNOR and MYER families and then SCHULTZ. 1930 Census is a H L MILLS age 71 Widowed age at first marriage 21 IN IN IN No Occupation given. Living with him is his daughter Mildred MILLS. age 21 Stenographer Single Insurance Business. Living with him is Marie MILLS daughter age 18 KS IN IN bookkeeper newspaper Living with him is Paul MILLS age son age 13 single KS KS IN On the web site, findagrave.com I put in what you listed. Page Cemetery. Indiana. I clicked on search for cemetery name, put in Page. It listed it. I clicked on names of iternments, and went down the list found Martha E and family. Says she is wife of H L MILLS. Says they had a son in 1901 who died. I am not aware of who posted that information onto the web site? The site master or just kind caring sharing folk? Maybe that was the contributing cause of Martha E passing in 1901. Complications of child birth, and or the loss of the baby??? One of my grand mother's brother's or sons', did the same thing. He lost his wife and child and he just wasted away. As the saying goes "You Had To Be There" to understand, the "Why". hope this may help a little. Check out your nearest LDS Family History Library center, and or local library, may have copies of old census records on hand.
