Her Mother's name was Mary. Mentioned in will of Richard, re giving a cow/cattle to the child, Mary. (Richard son of Samuel MILLS and Sarah DENTON, son of Samuel MILLS and Susannah PALMER, son of George of Jamaica, LI NY USA. (DNA testing done on 6 branches now of this MILLS family. www.familytreedna.com under MILLS.) Could he be the Richard of which you speak? Granted not all of the MILLS family members stayed in one place. They did move around while in New Jersey. Granted too, many of the county lines also moved fast and furious as well.(See New Jersey Website has virtual county information.) But the actual land and farm houses, etc. stayed put. SO one year may have been in Hunterdon County while the next was in another, Essex, Sussex, Morris, or whatever?? If you have land deed records, might better track who was where and when, etc. Does this help you with your MILLS family branch?
