Pat, I thought you had my book, so I am puzzled as to why you think Zachariah may not be a son of George. George transferred land to his son Zachariah on 22 February 1678/9 (p. 8). If the DNA of a supposed male descendant of Zachariah does not match other descendants of George (I haven't looked at the DNA website) it could indicate a non-paternity event somewhere in the line. DNA has identified a male descendant of my Peter Mills whose surname was Cobb. Turns out he was the son of a woman's first husband, Jonathan (I think) Mills. She later married a man named Cobb.
