This family is on the rootsweb.com database named sharonsmith, however, she seems to have more children named MILLS after her husband John, was shot and killed in 1905, per the post to the list today. Apparently, she married another man, and the census taker did not record their details correctly on the subsequent census taking. Or whoever contacted Sharon gave her incorrect information regarding John and Bithey??? DO NOT KNOW. Does any one out there can help out Mike further. He from Calvary, Marion, Kentucky and was married to a yound girl named Bitha Taylor (my Great Grandmother) who was pregnet with his first child, Amanda Mills, to whom he never got the chance to lay eyes on. Bitha remarried a man named Price and raised a few more kids, George and Jimmy Price. We have been searching for information on John Mills for may years now. You know how folks were back in those days, most of their family information died with them. My grandmother, Amanda died back in the 80's and along with her went any information she may have been told by her mother. I saw the Mills Family Reunion in Knox knowing they were from the area and hope of getting some answers or rather closure came to mind. The only other information I know is from the 1900 Census that he had a brother James who was born in 1885. That's all we have. We were putting a family tree together and were hoping to get real information from living family instead of possible information where lots of folks point and click to fill a tree.
