I have Lucy Mills who married Giles Dayton jr. in 1798. She was the daughter of Cpl. Edward Mills & Hannah Avery; Edward was killed in 1781 at Ft. Griswold when Benedict Arnold attacked Groton. Edward was the son of John Mills & Hannah Starr. John is my brick wall, I can not find his parents or tie him to any of the other Mills lines in the New England area.
