Does anyone have information on a John Mills that died about 1739 in Beaufort County, NC? He may have been married to a Sarah. I believe he had a son named John Jr and was married to a Mary. They lived in Edgecombe County and Halifax County, NC. They were there in the 1760's. I need help and will gladly exchange info. Larry Mills

According to census records, she was living with her parents in 1850 in Smith County Tennessee and she was 18 years old...making her birth date about 1830. And the census records indicate she was born in Tennessee. I haven't been able to find out what happened to Elizabeth, however. Elizabeth and John Washington's parents were John and Martha Mills. Other siblings were Susan, Margret, Eliza, and perhaps Nancy. Are you sure about your Elizabeth's birth date? Jackie Lewis

Just saw a William Seaborn MILLS on database of Lynn Mostella dated 11 22 02. William is as born in Georgia and died in Texas. You might contact her, if address is still good, that is, and compare notes. It might be a link for you. Pat cw
I was just on gencircles.com and was looking for John MILLS. I found one that married Hester C WHITE. Their dau Hester MILLS married HANKS. That family moved on down to Virginia and their descendants also moved down to Georgia and then to Alabama. Maybe along with John's daughter, there might have been a brother or sister and other relatives who went along with the family down to Georgia and Alabama. Could be a related family of MILLS as well, cousins? Have you looked at those families? Pat cw
I recall a couple of MILLS men originated from New York and New Jersey moving to Louisiana. I believe it was a Richard and William or a John. In New Jersey, a John MILLS married an Abigail Dickerson. Could those MILLS and DICKERSON families be related to your MILLS of Louisiana? Pat cw
Could these names be somehow related by family.? They are very close in the sounding of the first name. Seaborn and Cebron? I do not recall off hand the locale of where these families lived or originated however. I recently did an update, and cannot seem now to locate which file I thought I had them listed. Pat cw
