Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/jE1.2ACEB/2991.1.1 Message Board Post: I don't think so. This William Mills moved to Chicago from Louisville, KY. He met an untimely death in 1920 when his children were young. I think his widow remarried at some point. I would be interested in finding descendants of his children Florence, Muriel, and William Jr., all born 1910 - 1915. I am confident he was not from Ohio.

    2. Helen S. Ullmann
    3. Richard and his Mills ancestors are covered in my little book, A Mills and Kendall Family History. It's in many libraries but is also available for sale at www.pictonpress.com. It was published by Newbury Street Press in 2002. Richard was the son of Samuel (but not of Abigail Smith -- error on p. 18), grandson of Jonathan and Martha (Wood) Mills and great-grandson of George Mills of Jamaica, Long Island. This is the only documented treatment of this Mills family in print and corrects several common errors and assumptions. Helen Ullmann

    2. So far, these names have not appeared on the James Ellison Mills line...and they won't. Somewhere down from Luke they could, I think, but to date have not.
