He married MARY SMITH on 28 May 1778 in New Windsor, N. Y. He seems to fit with what you have except for the fact that I have his parents as GARRETT MILLER and PATIENCE GRISWOLD. This senior GARRETT was born in 1731 in Connecticut and died in 1778 in Orange Co., N. Y. His father was WILLIAM MILLER who died in Morristown, N.
