I am trying to work backwards from James Miller of PA, as well as Mary E. Pearman of IN. Family lore talks about "Pennsylvania Dutch", so James Miller could very well be Jacob Mueller! Alexander's death cert. lists his mom as Mary "Maxwell", and his dad as "John" Miller; unfortunately, my grandfather was not reliable. If any of these people look familiar, please contact me. I have contacted the Harrison Co. IN historian, genealogical societies, and local history compilations, but cannot learn more about James et al. this time.
