If Alfred Miller was killed by Indians, it wasn't in Michigan City. They were all forced west in 1838. Hello, It was just brought to my attention that I forgot to mention another part of the story. Last year a researcher brought the above to my attention the same thing that another kind soul just did. The story about the indian's came from one relative and another more plausible one came from another member of the family. Alfred had gone to one of those wrestling matches where these traveling matches came to town. You know the ones where they take bets and ask for any takers. Well anyway he was suppose to have died in one of these matches. So really we have no proof as to how he died. Thanks Nora
