Has anyone ever heard of the Know Nothings? Aparently, my John MILLER/MUELLER lived in Miller "Hollar" in Louisville, KY to Elizabeth, IN. It is thought the reason he left KY was because of a gang called the "Know Nothings" who were killing Germans-and claiming they knew nothing about it. He supposedly ran for his life. Does anyone else have any information on this? What I have on my line is undocumented and I have not spent any time on it other than gathering info. from relatives. They noticed her casket was extra heavy and decided to open it. They found her body had been petrified and her son, George, was to have said her body was just as it was when she was buried except the glass top of the casket was broken and had mashed her nose.
