MILLER, Onondaga Co, NY-Smithfield, Fulton Co, IL 1810-1891 Hi, Miller, Folk! I am moving today, from Florida, where I've lived for 20 years, back to ILLINOIS, where my ancestors are buried! I can't wait! My apartment won't be ready till September, but I will have the same email address. In the meantime, if you run across Marquis D. MILLER, who died in 1891 in Fulton Co, IL, please contact me. I have his entire history from 1835 on....But his New York years are a complete mystery. I do know he worked on the Erie Canal as a young boy, but he was trained as a Cooper and Farmer. He could read and write, he voted in NY State in 1832 and, supposedly, didn't marry until he met Susannah WACHTAL, who lived in Fulton County, in 1839. Still looking for his parents, and his actual lineage...(probably Dutch). Good Hunting to you all!
