I have just recently learned the identity and possible background of my Wife's Great Grandfather. His name is John Miller, b: April 9, 1848 in Mecklenburg, Germany. He migrated to the USA with his parents (Christein and Maria) sometime around 1852-53 and settled in Black Creek Tow, Wisconsin. He grew up in Black Creek and married Sophia (?Faust?) Husman on October 2, 1875 in Seymore, WI. They had 8 children. Sophia died April 22, 1907 and he remarried Lena Endter or Eudter. They had one child (Earl Frederick Miller b: Jan 4, 1912) John died October 10, 1937 and is buried in Seymore City Cemetery in the Husman Plat. I have searched hundreds of passenger lists and haven't had any luck. Does anyone have and suggestions/ideas/help? Anyone else who is interested, I have the names and some DOB's of the first 8 children. Andy Davis Rolla, Missouri
