Elizabeth was Jacob Miller's girlBook 6 Pg. 222 John Graybeal & Wife to James Ingram Regst. 27 Feby 1810 Know all men by these presents that I John Graybeal and wife of the State of Tennessee and County of Hawkins for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars to and in hand paid by James Ingram of the county aforesaid the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged hath bargained and sold unto the said James Ingram & his heirs forever a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the aforesaid county of Hawkins on the south side of Holsten River on Beach Creek and bounded as follows beginning on a dogwood and ser- - -(?) on the bank of Beach Creek being a corner to Jacob Keplers old track of which there is a part running North sixty seven degrees west two hundred and thirty ___poles to a red oak(?)thence North one hundred and forty four poles to a stake then East to the middle of the Beach Creek then up the _____of the middle of said Creek to the beginning. Containing eighty acres agreeable to a deed of gift made by Jacob Kepler to his daughter Elizabeth Kepler now wife of said John Graybeal being(?) doth the seventh(?) day of January one thousand eight hundred & five and registered in the office of Hawkins County the twenty fourth day of November(?)the same year in Libr. A No. 2 page 121 is to be _____that the lines of the above deed of gift ______a tract of land belonging to John Posatan and sales for one hundred and ten acres more of less which interpeation we do not in any ____ convey to the said James Ingram list? all the land in said deed of gift which is not taken by the said Borland(?) is what to be intended to be conveyed containing eighty acres as I f____(?) to have and to hold the said eighty acres of land and all and singular for premises above mentioned and every part and parcel thereof with their apurantes unto the said James Ingram and his heirs forever and in the said John Graybeal and Elizabeth his wife is forwarding (?) and our heirs doth ___ ____warrent and forever defend the right and title of said land unto the said James Ingram and his heirs in witness of the said John Graybeal and Elizabeth his wife hath witnessed and set their hand and affixed their seals this eighteenth day of February one thousand eight hundred and ten.
