    2. Found in the NY Herald Newspaper Nov 13 1890 PEEKSKILL- A week ago General James W. Husted became involved in a dispute with Henry V. MILLER at Croton. The affair ended by General Husted Tweeking Miller's nose. Yesterday Miller caused a suit for damages to begun against the General, Claiming $5,000 damages for assault. ___________________________________________________________ Found in same paper: PATERSON NJ.- JAMES MILLER, ALDERMAN from the 6TH WARD, was arraigned yesterday on an indictment found by the late grand jury for malfeasance in office. The charge is that he demanded and received from William P. HUDDSON, justice of the peace, $20 as a bribe for securing the passage by the Board of Alderman of a resolution permitting Hudson to make alterations to a frame building within the fire limits. The Alderman Found a bondsman in $500. _______________________________________ Found in NY HERALD NOV 8 1890 The widow of JUSTICE MILLER has decided to rent her house in Washington, and sell her horses and carriage, and go to a hotel to l ive.
