COLLEGE HOSPITAL GRADUATES 103 DOCTORS, 41 NURSES Hospital Commencement    Modern physicians were accused of casting a gulf between the practice of medicine and the cure of the human mind and soul, thereby causing the existence of new and incompetent religions and sciences, among them psychiatry, when the Rev. Dr. J. Stanley DURKEE, pastor of Plymouth Church, delivered the baccalaureate sermon at the graduation exercises of the Medical School and the Nurses School of Training of the Long Island Hospital in the Academy of Music last night.    Doctor’s diplomas were given to 103, of whom three were women. Forty-one nurses were graduated. Prizes Awarded    There was a musical programme. Dancing followed the exercises.    The four prize awards for the medical graduates were received as follows: The Dudley Memorial medal for the best clinical report of a case in the surgical wards of the hospital, to James Francis BROWN; the Mitchell prize, which was awarded to the member of the graduating class who in the judgement of the faculty, is the best qualified in all departments of medicine, to Donald J. MAGILLIGAN; the Ford prize, for the best dissection, to William T. DAILY, and the Phi Delta Epsilon Club prize for the highest scholastic average, to Harry SACKADORF.    The four prizes for graduate nurses were awarded as follows: The Guild prize for the greatest courtesy, tact and loyalty to Miss Mary Elizabeth Annie REID; the MacNaughton prize, for the best work in gynecological nursing to Miss Aida Mae MOORE; the Donaldson medal for the highest academic average to Miss Alice Annette CLARE, and the Ritchie prize for the highest marks in examination, to Miss Alva Jean McQUADE.
