One of my brick walls is the parents of my grgrgrandfather, Andrew Jackson MILLER of Savannah GA. Andrew had a brother, Samuel S. MILLER, living in Thunderbolt GA. Both had migrated down from the York area of PA in the mid 1800s. Andrew was born on December 14, 1826 and according to an obit it was near Chambersburg, but that may be general. He married Elizabeth Forscht of York PA, in Savannah GA, on August 18, 1852 by the Rev. Lovick Pierce. They had: Clayton Pierce MILLER Preston Henry MILLER Georgia Elizabeth MILLER Thomas Jefferson Davis MILLER Robert E. Lee MILLER Andrew is buried in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. Samuel S. MILLER's tombstone says he was born in York PA on February 8, 1822. He married Anna E. HENDERSON in Savannah GA, on January 21, 1851, by the Rev. J.E. Evans. They had: Mary Jane MILLER Strickland George H. MILLER Lillian E. MILLER Teressa L. MILLER Carpenter Elbie I. Miller Samuel is buried in Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah GA.
