Any help would be appreciated. James Pierce Miller, b. 1804 in Rhea Co., TN - according to his sister's bible he died in Feb 1854, no location or proof has been found to confirm this. He is son of Adam Miller (1769/VA-1820/Rhea Co., TN) and Elizabeth Pearce 1774/VA-1854/Cherokee Co.,TX). He married: Charlotte Bell (1801/TN-?) She is daughter of William Bell and Rebecca Gibbons. Their children listed on the 1850 census in Benton Co., AR are: Thomas Bell Miller (1826/TN-1892/Sonoma Co., CA) - married Mary Alice King (they are found on the 1860 Sonoma Co., CA census) Gideon Thaddious Miller (1829/TN-1897/Craighead Co., AR) - married Sarah Ann ?? (1835/TN-1895) Robert Adam Miller (1832/TN-1912/Sonoma Co., CA) - married Sarah McKissick Elizabeth W. Miller (1835/AL-1919/Bosque Co., TX) - married John Lorien White (they are found on the 1860 census in Benton Co., AR) Jacob David Miller (1842/Benton Co., AR-1912/Harris Co., TX) - married Ella Goolsby, Credella Keener My major brickwalls for this family are: 1. Location of my gg grandfather, Gideon Thaddious Miller between 1850 in Benton Co., AR and 1870 in Craighead Co., AR. Wife born in TN, three oldest children born in TN in 1868 and and 1869. 2. Location of Robert Adam Miller between 1850 in Benton Co., AR and birth of first child in 1862 in TX. 3.
