Bonedigger. I have checked out the ISAAC MILLER information you gave me before, but did not come up with a match. I would like to try again and maybe get lucky this time. This is the information that I have. ISAAC MILLER: 1850 Catawba County, NC Census. Living in the Adam Gross househould, age 30, a cabinetmaker from KENTUCKY. Bondsman for the marriage of Cannda Yount and Logan G. Whitener, Apr 1850, Catawba County, NC. Logan's parents were Johannes Wilfong Whitener and POLLY MILLER. Could there be a connection to POLLY MILLER? ISAAC MILLER and Elvira Gant were the parents of LARKIN S. MILLER June 18, 1845, Catawba County(Claremont)NC. Elvira Gant's parents were Jesse L. Gant, Sr and Debitha Sherrill. I would think that ISAAC MILLER would have learned the Cabinetmaker trade from his father or an appurtenance from someone. Larkin states on the 1880 census that his father was from Ohio. On the 1910 census, Larkin states his father was from Kentucky. Appreciate any information. Dan Miller milgen6@cs.com
