I'm trying to find out the ancestors of North Miller (my husband's gggrandfather). He was born July 3, 1816 in Susquehanna, Susquehanna Co., PA. He married Amanda Bell December 1, 1836 in New Providence, Hardin Co., Iowa. Amanda was also born in Susquehanna, PA. May 21, 1821. North Miller died Aug. 15, 1900 in New Providence, Iowa, and Amanda died Aug. 22, 1903 in New Providence, Iowa. They had 9 children that we know of: Helen, Owen(my husband's ggrandfather), Elias, Rosanna, Samuel C., Simeon, Horace, Ambrose, and Sarah. We found North and Amanda on the 1900 census taken shortly before he died, and his father was born in PA. and his mother was born in New Jersey. Amanda's father was born in PA. and her mother was born in Connecticut. If anyone can find info on what North's or Amanda's parents names were, we would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
