    1. [MILLER-L] (My dream Luncheon Date with Marquis D. Miller)
    2. (Whose great idea was this, anyway?) I love it! I'd love to meet Marquis D. MILLER and find out why he covered his tracks so well! How is it that he came from the Onondaga Co, NY area to Fulton Co, IL and settled in the same, exact town as the "other" MILLER who arrived there at the same time? Oliver Evers MILLER, son of Hiram MILLER & Susanna OUDERKIRK, came from the Lysander area and settled in Fulton County around 1837. Yet, these families claim NOT to be related to each other. Very strange. So, I would ask Marquis, "Why were your parents in the Lake Champlain, NY area when you were born?" Was your father a soldier? Was he a Sutler? Why did you move to the Onondaga County, NY area? Were there other Miller relatives who had already moved there? What are your parent's names? Why were you still single at age 25? Why isn't there a deed, a will, or any primary data from NY with your name on it? How is it that you could read and write so well? Where were you educated? Why did you leave NY and head west by yourself? No one travelled alone in those days! Why did you travel alone? Are we related to the Ohio Millers? The Kentucky Millers? The Maryland Millers? How do you know your exact birth date? (23 Aug, 1810) Is there a church record somewhere? I would ask all these questions before we ordered; then;......... Judy Goodwin Third Great Grand Daughter M.
