Married Anna Elisabetha "Elisabeth" FÄHT (Faeth, Fath, etc.) 3 Apr 1860 in Washington County, Illinois Elisabeth was born in Dannstadt-Schauernheim, Bavaria, Germany in Feb 1836. Members of her family moved to Bible Grove, Clay County, Illinois. Their children: Louis - 1861 (possibly married a Campbell) Edward - 1863 (possibly married a Glammeier) Herman - 1865 or 1868 (possibly married Anna Riemenschneider) Mary Catharine - 1868 or 1865 Louise Charlotte - 1871 (married Edward Traeger 1890 and died in 1891) Anna Bertha "Emma" - 1874 (married Albert Georg Dettleff in Washington County, IL and died in St. Louis, Missouri.)
