Charles, can you find anything about the following Millers. I don't know if they are mine, but lived near my John Miller's wife's family. Looking for information on George Miller family. He married Anna Mary Walker about 1760, d. abt 1777, Bethel Twp., Bedford Co., PA. Children were, John, Jacob, Dorothy, Katherin and Barbara (m. Hager). Other names associated with the family are Earhart and Longstreth and Stephens. I would like to hear from anyone with any information on any of these people or this locality. Thanks, Dave Miller ----- Original Message ----- From: "CCMILLER" <[email protected]> > Cold outside! So ask me about your MILLERs. Hi Charles, Still looking for answers to my Miller brick wall! Looking for the parentage and or ancestors of Newel Henry Miller. This is what I know: Newel Henry Miller, born February 07, 1832 SC as listed on the 1850 Bibb Co. GA Censi. killed August 28, 1862 in the Second Battle of Manassas Va. In the War Between the States. Spouse: Mary Elizabeth Birket, born 1833 Richmond Co. Ga. (birth location not proven) death February 14, 1883, Houston Co. GA Children Matilda Miller Henry A. Miller b: 24 MAY 1853 in Houston Co. Ga. Mary Catherine Miller b: 9 NOV 1855 in Houston Co. Ga. Nancyann E. Miller b: 25 APR 1857 in Houston Co. Ga. Sarah Ann M. Miller b: 9 JAN 1860 in Bibb Co. Ga. William Henry 'Newel' Miller b: 11 SEP 1862 in Bibb or Houston Co. Ga. Based on names of children and grandchildren, I suspect that Newel Henry Miller's fathers name was either Henry Miller or William Henry Miller. There is a William H. Miller buried in the Evergreen Cemetery, Perry Ga. (b 11 Oct 1808, d 14 Aug 1860). Born in Newton, New Jersey. Died in Perry, Georgia. no other information on him. He may be Newel's father or related in some way? Much of the above information came from the Miller family Bible which I have in my possession. Any help from anyone on finding the parentage of this family will be much appreciated! Kindest regards, William W. Hatcher Sr. Milledgeville, Ga.
