Ellie, Do you think that the John Miller and wife Martha who were early in Pulaski and then Maries Counties was a son of Boyd? John b. VA ca 1780/82, Martha b. VA ca 1782, had multiple children per 1840 census, but unable to name but two daughters, Martha and Mahala, both b. in TN (all birthplaces per census). John died before the 1868 courthouse fire in Maries County so probate info is out - would like to know names of all children, but just unable to decipher which Millers are with which family in the Pulaski and Maries County areas. But Boyd married Mary Story/Storey in early 1790s.. had 3 children and apparently she died.. He then m. Elizabeth Stephenson and traveled to Missouri.. I think by way of KY.. I know the person that gave me info had info, not only on Boyd, but also his grandparents... Does this sound familiar to anyone? Boyd was my gggg grandfather.
