Hello, I may have located the origin of my Miller brothers (Andrew J & Samuel S) that were born in York PA in the early 1800s, migrated to Savannah GA in the early 1850s. Apparently they were the youngest sons of Daniel Miller and his wife, Elizabeth (Beitzel) Miller They also had several siblings: Leah Miller F Married George Brown Peter Miller M Polly Miller F Elizabeth Miller F Henrich Miller M Married Julia Ann Dewalt and later, Catharine Gehr Sarah Ann Miller F Married William Thompson Dewalt Does anyone have these? Patti, I think I have this Lewis Miller in Fayette Co., Pa. Per a will probated 2/11/1813 he had sons Samuel, Nicholas, Solomon, David, Jacob and Abraham and daughters Catherine, Hannah, Elizabeth, Mary and Rebeckah. He lived in Manellen and German Twps. and his wife was Barberry per land records. From information provided by another researcher Henry Myers Sr. was married to a widow, Hannah Miller Dietch d/o Lewis Miller. Also, daughter Catherine was married to Martin Overturf. I did find Henry Myers and Martin Overtuff on tax lists starting 1797 in Montgomery Co., Ky.--this is where this researcher indicated they had migrated to. I have been chasing this Lewis Miller for some time trying to link (his father?) him to my David Miller who md. Deborah Zook probably mid 1770's in either Somerset/Bedford Co. or now Franklin Co. My David Miller and Deborah Zook's brother, David Zook, appear to have been in Manellen Twp. in 1780/90 before going on to Washington Co., Pa. and then on to Nelson Co. and Franklin Co., Ky. in 1794/5. Also, I have Jacob Miller b. 1754 d. 1815 in Millford Twp., Somerset Co., Pa. with wife Elizabeth Freidline. Do you think this in Lewis Miller's son? Most interesting to me because Deborah Zook's father, Peter Zook, was in Millford Twp. starting 1774 until he moved to Manellen Twp., Fayette Co. in 1792..then he moved on to Washington Co., Pa. in 1794. Peter Zook had previously been in Antrim Twp., Franklin Co., Pa. I would be most interested in your take on all this. Also, do you know anything about Lewis Miller's son David?
