    3. JM and Max, There are a couple of ways the Millers of Madison County, Ky connect to Daniel Boone. The first I would submit would be through the sister of Daniel Boone, Sarah Cassandra Boone who married JOhn Wilcoxson on May 29, 1742 in Berks County, PA. A daughter named Rachael Wilcoxson was born 1754 in Rowan County, NC. married James Enoch Mylar about 1781. James was born Oct 22, 1753 in PA and died abt. 1789. After the death of James Mylar / Miller Rachael married William Bryan. Issue of James and Rachael were Rachel Mylar, born in Kentucky about 1789. Rachel Mylar married Stephen Jett on February 24, 1806, and James Mylar married Henrietta Jett on October 2, 1806. Both marriages were in Madison County, Kentucky. Henrietta Jett was born in Virginia (later Kentucky) and was the daughter of Isaac Israel Jett and Mary Letcher. I have not found any connection between James Enoch Mylar and the Millers of Paint Lick, Garrard County, KY. There was an Elizabeth Jett marriage to Thomas Raymond Shearer of Madison County, Ky that was related to my grandmother. I believe the SHearers and Mylars of Bullock Creek, York District, SC were related or certainly knew each other. There was also a connection between a daughter of Henry "Ironmaster" and the Colonel John Malcolm Miller by marriages to the Lewis and Lynn families. 3. In my Miller family tree book it states that Jacob Miller who was born at Jarman Virginia near Harrisonburg was a childhood playmate and later a scout for Daniel Boon at Boonesborough and a Rev.War soldier. Jacob Miller was married to Priscilla Estes in Madison County Kentucky on February 28 1788. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Darrell Miller" <dmiller655@yahoo.com> To: <miller@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, March 03, 2007 7:11 PM Subject: Re: [Miller] Poss Miller / Boone Connections in Madison Co. 3. Does your book show the mother and father of your Jacob? I believe his father was Jacob Miller born may 12, 1728 at Faulkners Swamp, Jefferson Twp., Berks Co., PA and died 13 Apr 1806 at Indian Creek, Monroe Co. W VA. His mother and first wife was Elizabeth Fudge b ca 1735-1743 in Switzerland and died 13 Mar 1777 in Rockingham Co.VA. (I will come back to them) A daughter of Jacob and Priscilla Estes Miller, Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Miller married William John Stufflebeam and thier daughter Priscilla Stufflebeam married Jesse Boone Wilcoxson b. 1813. Jesse was the son of Captain Elijah Wilcoxson and Charloote Calloway. Elijah was the son of Samuel Wilcoxson born 1755 in Rowan County, Nc and he married Anna Jordan. They were members of the Three Forks Baptist Church in Watauga Co. NC in the company of Benjamin Cleveland and George Mceil. Samule was the son of JOhn Wilcoxson and Sarah Cassandra Boone whick makes him a brother to Rachel Wilcoxson who married James Enoch Mylar Miller of my previous post. Hmmmm. Going back to Jacob and Elizabeth Fudge, She was the d/o John Peter "Hans" (Fotsch) Fudge b abt 1720 and Anna Meir Meyer. John Peter Fudge was also married a second time to a Widow Schulteli and it is their issue, half siblings to Elizabeth. Briefly Ursula Schulteli Fudge married Ursula Schulteli Fudge and their son Adam married Sarah Sallie Miller, d/o Henry Miller and Marie Catherine Price and he was the grandson of Adam Miller b 1703 (The first settler in the county who settled near what is now Elkton, VA.) and his wife Marria Anna Barbara Koger. A nephew of Adam Harnsberger and Sarah Miller married Mary Columbia Yancey b 1829 d/o Charles Lewis Yancey. His ancestry leads to ther Lewis and Lynn lines of my previous post (re Col John Malcolm Miller) and also the William Miller who was with James Estill when Estill was killed and also known as the founder of Paint Lick. KY. Please don't ask me to the above ver batum, D E Miller --- "David R. 3. I thought this was interesting. My gggrandmother Mary Bever was married to Miller, and I have been doing Miller research. But the interesting fact is that is related to the Wilcoxson clan gggfather was John Wilcoxson, and has info on the Daniel Boone relatonship. It would be a kick if we could trace the Millers and the Wilcoxson.
