Marion Francis Miller born 1857 near Old Bloomfield. He died in 1941. Marion was married in 1881 to Sarah Martha Roy. Sarah was born 1864 in Redmon, Illinois. She died in 1956. Sarah Roy was the daughter of Israel Roy & Harriett Jones. Sarah was one of eight children. I have the name of one sister as Celila E. Roy, no further information on the Roy side. Marion & Sarah Miller had the following Children: Estella C. Miller born 1882 in Vermilion Illinois Joseph C. Miller born 1884 in Conologue, Illinois Syrilda H. Miller born 1887 in Ridge Farm Illinois Estrage or Estridge Miller born 1889. Died at 3 days old Geneva E. Miller born 1891 in Vermilion Illinois Lena E. Miller born 1896 in Vermilion Illinois Cora J. Miller born 1899 in Vermilion Illinois Roy R. Miller born 1903 Estella C. Miller married John Franklin 1897 in Vermilion, Illinois. John Franklin was born 1876 in Indiana, he died 1916 near Paris, Illinois. John & Estella Franklin had the following children: Callie B. Franklin born 1899 in Vermilion, Illinois Ernest F. Franklin born 1901 in Paris, Illinois Leona M. Franklin born 1902 in Paris, Illinois Sarah A. Franklin born 1904 in Vermilion, Illinois Mary A. Franklin born 1905 in Vermilion, Illinois Hattie E. Franklin born 1906 in Paris, Illinois Martha M. Franklin born 1907 in Vermilion, Illinois Jonn W. Franklin born 1908 in Vermilion, Illinois Edward Franklin born 1909 in Vermilion, Illinois Ervin Franklin born 1910 in Vermilion, Illinois Homer E. Franklin born 1911 in Paris, Illinois Franklin born 1912-stillborn in Vermilion Illinois I have no information on the following six children of John & Estella Franklin: Sarah, Mary, Martha John, Edward, or Ervin. I've been told that some of the Franklin Children were placed in an orphanage. These six children could have been in an orphanage, adopted or died young. I have no one left in my family that knows anything at all about these six children. Callie, Ernest, Hattie & Leona Franklin traveled to Baltimore, Maryland when Estella Franklin moved to Maryland in 1916. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
