Marcia, This is what I have been able to piece together on my Miller lineage,..most of the information has come from Jim Weyand (who is a descendant of Mary Polly Miller and Jacob Weyand Jr). My line is through Jacob G. Miller and his son Hiram Miller. I have posted this information to see if anyone has anything more on Nicholas Muller or his other children, and I am requesting a will look up on Adam Miller of Somerset Co. and Bedford Co., Pa. I don't think Nicholas Muller came to America since Adam resided with his ucle Jacob Miller but I don't know that for sure. Here is what I have: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Generation 1: Nicholas Muller of Gerhardsbrun (Sevabrichen) a town in Bavarita, Germany. This is located on the French/Germany border. Generation 2: Adam Miller, b. May 14th, 1750, in Gerhardsbrum, Germany, came to Hagerstown, M.D. in 1773 and lived with his uncle Jacob Miller/Muller until the war broke out when he enlisted and served one year. He co-owned and operated a store with David Kershner of Hagerstown, M.D. Adam married in March 15, 1779 in Hagerstown, Md. to Rosanna Kershner (1765-1779), dtr. of Johan George Kershner. They bought a lot in Berlin on June 20, 1795. He served as justice of the peace from 1791 to 1798. He kept a journal (written in German) now residing in Berlin Historical Society (untranslated). He was re-elected to the assembly in 1799-1802. In 1808 the moved from Berlin to Buffalo Mills, Bedford County, Pa. Adam died in 1827 in Buffalo Mills, Bedford Co. (now Somerset Co.), Pa. He is buried at the Berlin German Reformed Churchyard. His will is in record book 2, Feb 27, 1827 Bedford County Courthouse 00459. Adam and Rosanna Kershner Miller's children include: 1. Mary "Polly" (1779-1836) m. 1. to ? Wells and 2) to Jacob Weyand (Jr.) (son of Jacob SR. and Catherine Miller Weyand) 2. George (1782-? S.C.) 3. Elizabeth (1784-?) m. John Alter 4. Jacob G. (1786-1860) m. Susanna Zimmerman 5. Rosanna (1787-? Indiana) m. Jacob Lichtenberger 6. Daniel (1791-?) m. Margaret Dively (of Londnberry Twp., Bedford Co., Pa. 7. Josiah (1798-? Pa) m. Elizabeth Kirshner 8. Misilda (1805-? Ohio) m. Joseph Metzger Generation 3: Jacob G. Miller, b. 1786 in Hagerstown, Md., and died in Berlin, Somerset Co. (formerly Bedford Co.) Pa. He married Susanna Zimmerman (dtr. of Michael Zimmerman) and their children include: 1. Josiah 2. Hiram 3. Aaron 4. Rosanna (Conrad) 5. Caroline (Ferner) 6. Louisa (Crissinger) 7. Rebecca (Donor) Generation 4: Hiram Miller, b. 1818, in Berlin, Somerset Co., Pa., married Anne "Mariah" Metzger ,dtr. of ? and Hannah Wurtz Metzger (note: who Hannah later married John Olewine and had Wm. J. Olwine, Mariah's 1/2 brother who list her children in his estate settlement) and had the following children: 1. Anne M. L. (1847) 2. Sarah E. (1849-after 1940) 3. John "Leander" (1850) 4. Alonzo H. Miller (1852-1929) 5. Clarissa (1854) m. Samuel Rockwell Generation 5: Alonzo H. Miller, b. 1852, d. 1929, married 1st to Jane Ann Hudson and 2nd to Sarah Columbia Miller (dtr. of Phillip Miller) in 1889 in Fairchance, Fayette Co., Pa. Children include: 1st marriage to Jane Ann Hudson 1. Albert G. 2. Elizabeth (1884-?) m. Harry Krienbrook 2nd. marriage to Sarah Columbia Miller-Taylor in Fayette Co., Pa. *(Sarah had son, Albert J. Taylor from her 1st marriage, b. 1885) 1. Anna Carolyn (1892-1973) m. John Stewart 2. Mathilda (1894-?) m. Charles Rider 3. Rosa Clarrisa (1896-1972) m. William Jerry Quinter Stewart 4. Howard S.
