I have Millers who were born in Illinois - Venedy, Washington County, Illinois. The father was Francis - that's the way he signed his name on their 1860 marriage license. The mother was Anna Elisabetha "Elisabeth" Fäht (Faeth) born in 1836 in Bavaria. Their children were: Louis - 1861 Edward - 1863 Herman - 1865 or 1868 Mary Catherine - 1868 or 1865 Louise Charlotte - 1871 - m. Edward Traeger d. ~1892 Anna Bertha "Emma" - 1874 m. Albert Georg Dettleff 1898 moved to St. Louis. I know very little about what happened to the sons after the 1870 Census and practically nothing about Mary Catherine and the parents. I do have a lot of information on the mother going back to the 1600s in Bavaria but don't know her death date or where she and her husband are buried. Does any of this ring any bells for anyone? I have some information on other Millers in Washington and Clinton Counties, Illinois also. Gloria
