Hi, I'm a Miller researcher from Illinois- I may be able to help you with Freeman Miller. His father was George Miller, b. 1799 in England. His mother was Sarah Miller, b. 1807 in NJ. They are on the 1850 Census; Canton, Fulton Co, IL, Page 78. Freeman is shown as age 21, b. NJ. His siblings are George, Jane, and Dunham Miller. Freeman married Catharine Powell on Jan 4, 1854 in Fulton Co, IL. Freeman is shown as widowed by 1880; age 45, b. NY. I checked the Greenwood Cemetery Book and found the plot for George and Sarah Miller and there is a Catharine Miller buried with them, shown as wife of 'E' Miller. She died Dec.26, 1864 at the age of 30yrs, 11mths 21dys. They are in Lot 485, Division A, owned by G. Miller. It doesn't show Freeman buried there- Sure wish I could break down my Miller brick wall!
