Savannah Morning News Dec. 16, 1920 Mortuary Miss Sara Miller The funeral of Miss Sara Blakewood Miller, who died yesterday morning, will be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock from Trinity Methodist Church, the Rev. L. A. Hill officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery. Besides her mother, Mrs. Clayton P. Miller, Miss Miller is survived by her grandmother, Mrs. A. J. Miller of Atlanta and by four sisters, Miss Elizabeth F. and Miss Ellen S. Miller, Mrs. T. Alfred Marshall and Mrs. R. F. Baker, Jr. all of Savannah. ----- Savannah Morning News Dec. 17, 1920 Miss Sara B. Miller The funeral of Miss Sara Blakewood Miller was held yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Services were conducted by Rev. L. A. Hill and Rev. W. A. Kelly. Interment was in Laurel Grove Cemetery. The pallbearers were H. O. Lowden, W. T. Knight, Jr., F. H. Marshall, George W. Crosby, J. L. Corbett and S. B. Ivey. --------------------------------------- Savannah Morning News Feb. 7, 1924 Mrs. A. J. Miller Mrs. A. J. Miller, formerly of Savannah, died early yesterday at the residence of her daughte, Mrs. L. W. Thomas, 34 Penn avenue, Atlanta, according to advices received a short while later by R. E. L. Miller, Sr., a son of the deceased. Mrs. Miller spent many years here before the death of her husband, who conducted a furniture establishment on Broughton street. She moved to Atlanta to reside with Mrs. Thomas about thirty years ago, and at the time of her death was 92 years old. The deceased is survived by a daughter, Mrs. L. W. Thomas of Atlanta; two sons, R. E. L. Miller, Sr., of Savannah, and Jefferson D. Miller of New York city, and fifteen grandchildren. The funeral will be held in Atlanta tomorrow morning at Westview Cemetery. Mr. Miller accompanied by his daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Harrie, left last night for Atlanta to attend the burial. ------------------------------ Savannah Morning News June 30, 1925 Mortuary The funeral of Mrs. Sarah E. Miller, widow of the late Clayton P. Miller, who died yesterday morning at her residence, 122 Park avenue, west, will be held this afternoon from Trinity Methodist Church at 4:30 o'clock. Rev. Silas Johnson, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, and Rev. J. H. Stanford, pastor of Asbury Methodist Church, will conduct the ceremonies. Mrs Miller was born in Hardeeville, S. C., in 1855 and came to Savannah at the age of ten, and has lived here since that time. She was the oldest member of Trinity Church, having joined in 1867. She is survived by four daughters, Miss Elizabeth F. Miller and Miss Ellen S. Miller of Savannah, Mrs T. A. Marshall of Bayonne, N. J. and Mrs R. Fuller Baker, Jr. of Orlando, Fla. She is also survived by two grandsons and four grandaughters. The pallbearers will be H. O. Lowden, F. H. Marshall, W. T. Knight, J. M. Rogers, George W. Crosby and W. R. L.
