Hi Listers: I am researching the Miller line in my family. Here is what I know so far: William H. Miller was born 1848. He married Inger Yortes in 1865, daughter of Thorwald Yortes and Sarah Cartwright. Inger was born October 17, 1849 in Urbana (Champaign County), IL and died Dec. 3, 1938 in Urbana. William and Inger had at least 2 children; George William Miller, b. Nov. 24, 1866 and Sarah, b. 1869. George married Lena Gibson in 1914 in Helena, AR. Lena was the child of Thomas Gibson and Semiramus Taylor and was born in McKinney, TX in 1889. George died in Champaign, IL in 1952. I don't know who William Miller married or where he was born. I have not found him in the HeritageQuest census, which is the only census I have. I have death certs for both Inger and her son, George. If anyone has any information on these people, please let me know. I would appreciate any tidbits I can get! Barb B.
