Jacob was born about 1800 in PA and Nancy was born about 1803 in PA (according to the 1880 census her father was born in NJ and her mother in Germany. We think her maiden name was Simpkins). Children known to be part of this family are Charles Alexander Miller b. June 22, 1824 Robert Miller b ca 1826 Peter Miller b ca 1826 Julia Miller b ca 1833 Jacob Miller b ca 1838 Mary Jane Miller b 6 June 1842 By 1854, Jacob and family had moved to Green County, Wisconsin,where he is recorded as having bought land. In May of 1853,Charles was married also in Green County, Wisconsin. I think I find this family living in Toby township in 1840.
