    3. I'm looking for the parents of my great Uncle, Elmer Miller. He was born in Terre Haute, IN. July 28, 1888. He married my great aunt Vera Watson in Superior, WS. in 1914. Elmer played major league baseball for the St Louis Cardinals in 1912. From 1915 to 1918 and from 1921 to 1922 he palayed for the New York Yankees, and we all know who played for the Yankees at that time.....grin. I have read that he also came from Sandusky OH. So I'm not even sure where he was born. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sharon McMillan

    3. Yes Shelly, That's them. I know the kids names but don't know their Married names. I can follow My aunts line but can't follow his line. I have asked the AR. list for a copy of Vera's OBit but can't get any one to do a look up for me. They are both buried in Beloit WS. but the paper files there burned. They both lived in WS for years. Elmer managed the baseball team there during the 40's. He is an interesting fellow. 3. Sharon, I don't know if it's a match, but I have an Elmer Miller born about Oct 1884 (I thought probably in Missouri, but Ohio is a possibility. His parents were Daniel Miller (Nov 1848 Ohio- After 1920 probably Bennington Twp, Ottawa, KS) and Sarah (Mrs. Miller) (Nov 1849 MO-Bef 1920 Probably in Kearny, Kansas) His brothers were: Preston Alonzo Miller (30 Jul 1873) Albert Miller (Aug 1875- ?) William Dempster Miller (10 Feb 1878- ?) Walker Miller (Abt 1881-?) Elmer Miller (Oct 1884- ?) John Miller( Abt 1890- ?) I don't know if this is a match, but this is about all I have on this family, from the census.
