Patti, I find this Ludwig Miller first in Fayette Co. in 1783 until his death in 1813. I note that his will does not include a son Thomas but does list a David Miller. Also, a Jonathon Miller seems to have been connected to the family. I have not identified this Ludwig prior to Fayette Co. One prospect is a Lodowich Miller shown in Antrim Twp., Cumberland, Co. (now Franklin Co.) in 1762 thru 1770. Peter Zook was there at the same time and they were also in Manellen Twp. of Fayette Co. in early 1790's. Also, there was a Ludwig Solomon Miller in Manheim and Mount Joy Twp. of York Co. from 1752 thru 1782. A Henry Myers (Ludwig's daughter Hannah md. a Henry Myers) was there also. I am most interested in Ludwig Miller because he could possibly have been father (or related) to my David Miller b. c1744, md. Deborah Zook (d/o Peter Zook), was in Manellen Twp. in 1783. He moved over to West Bethelhem Twp. in Washington Co. before moving to Nelson Co., Ky. in 1796. I would sure like to get feedback on this. Your Ludwig or Lewis Miller seems to follow the trail of my Richard Miller. Richard was born in PA or MD or VA. He gives all three in different census. He was born in 1808 and settled in Belmont County, OH He married Catharine Frazier of PA. I havn't been able to find either of these persons before OHio.
