I have seen her name as Dorothy, I have seen her last name spelled with one b and one n. I have even seen it as Gibney. Peter and Dorthula seemed to go back and forth from IL. and Mo. She did die as a young wife and mother. Her father was a blacksmith in Mo. and her mother was from Tenn. according to the 1850 census in Mo. Is there anyone looking for a Miller/Giboney family?? ==== Greetings, Karen! My Miller was Francis Miller who married Anna Elisabetha "Elisabeth" Fäht (Faeth) in Washington County, Illinois in 1860. She was born in 1835 in Bavaria and he was born before her according to the Census. I don't know anything more about Francis. Do you know if your Peter had any siblings by the name of Francis? Is there any family story of any Native American Indian heritage in their family? Thank you for this bright star to my morning. Gloria
